Are antibacterial soaps much effective than the regular ones?

Hey look! I am standing here. Pass the ball, man! Two goals to one. We won the match! Hip Hip Hurray! Hip Hip Huray! But the difficult part of this happy scenario is how you are going to answer your mom about your jersey.

Back home, with the muddy face. Mom is still squinting from the kitchen and her eyeballs are about to pop out. "You little tyke! Enough of your heebie-jeebies. Go and take a good bath."
It was just a blessing in disguise and finally you are left unpunished.

Shower on and you take your soap. Every parent's choice is said to be good for their child. But why anti-bacterial soap? Is it really good for your skin? Maybe not.

Anti-bacterial soaps are said to be brave knights that kill germs and other bad guys. Dermologists say that there is no evidence that anti-bacterial soaps provide protective shield to the skin.
Anti-microbial soaps mostly contain triclosan, also known as TCS, an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent found in some consumer products such as toothpaste, detergents, soaps and surgical cleaning treatments. Some of these soaps also contain triclocarbon, alcohol, benzalkonium chloride and other antibacterial agents.

Triclosan (TCS) is one of the antibacterial agents found in soaps

Long term exposure to triclosan can form antibiotic resistant bacteria. When we use these antibacterial soaps often, it can damage some of the beneficial bacteria needed for your body. But the lucky survivers may proliferate and secreate powerful enzymes to kill the super bacteria or superbugs. But this totally turn to be a unexpected tragedy. The bad bacteria now becomes more powerful and difficult to kill. Strenuous efforts are required to eliminate the muck from the body.

These soaps were first used to accomplish cleaning tasks in veterinarian offices and cleaning pets around mid-1920s. We are humans! No doubt in it, anyway...

Usage of antimicrobial soaps can make triclosan and other antibacterial ingredients to penetrate the skin and can lead to various health issues. It is advisable to use your regular soaps. Just bid adieu to your anti-bacterial soaps and no need to be afraid of your own shadow.

It's summer now and don't forget the trees, gale, scorching sun, sand, tender coconut and the list goes on. I think this phrase is sometimes fine:"Dirt is good."
